Why would I need a wood store for log storage?  

Not only does a wood store allow you to neatly stack your seasoned firewood and save space but the wooden log stores are built so the air can circulate freely around yourlogs, keeping the moisture levels low and getting the most efficient burn from your logs.

The wood store is handbuilt in three sizes and all wood stores are designed to allow nature to season and dry your firewood as quickly as possible. All of our log stores are made with sturdy pressure treated tanalised timber and all the nails are galvanised.

Our Log Stores

 We currently offer three sizes of log storage as standard, for storing and drying logs – log stores delivered free and ready assembled.

Our cottage log store is handmade in traditional cottage design for smaller spaces but still holding approximately .70 cubic metres.  Ideal log storage for placing near to a door for instant access to your logs, stacking your logs in our cottage log store means a greater volume of log storage for a small area. Our large log store is handmade to the same high quality as the cottage log store but with the added bonus of a shelf for kindling or even more logs. This large log store has an even large log storage capacity and is capable of holding aprox 1 cubic metre. Buy online...

Our newest design of log store, is again handmade to the same high quality as the cottage log store and large log store, but with a lean to roof rather than a pitch roof, though wood storage capacity is still approx 1 cubic metre.

•  All sizes of log storage are designed to encourage nature to dry and season freshly split logs and firewood as quickly as possible.
• Our handmade wooden log stores are made to both store dry seasoned logs and season freshly cut timber.
•  Our Backyard Farmer log storage allows ventilation to naturally dry your logs, whilst protecting them from rain and snow.

All our wooden log stores are built to last, made from Tanalith pressure treated wood and all of the nails and screws used are galvanised. This not only gives it a rustic look but means they are really built to last.

The log stores are built off ground to ensure the best possible circulation of air, which is essential when drying, seasoning or storing firewood.

The pitched roof allows the log stores to shed rainwater easily and allows the moisture to evaporate away from the log store.
